How privileged we feel that we have the opportunity to bring forth God’s word week after week to the people of Roatan. What an opportunity for us His people to know Him more that we can learn to do what is pleasing in His sight and continue to enjoy His favor.
THE CHURCH
God is good and always at work here. Mid-February we started a new Spanish Bible study on Sunday mornings. The total congregation comes together for worship, separates for respective services and then reunites for the breaking of bread and fellowship. Fernand has been teaching the Spanish class and with God’s help is doing a fine job teaching verse by verse. Snider, Lynne & Luma have taken over the youth boys class and are challenging them to new levels. Clint and Jenny have been heading up the children’s ministry for 5 to 11 year olds which can encompass a large majority of our church. We also where very blessed to have Snider and Lynne head up a “Mens Healing” class which allowed God to do restorative work in several of our men. We also have great joy and rejoice with heaven as we had the priviledge to see 17 people baptised.
THE WATER MINISTRY
The water project is getting ready to drill another well by God’s provision through “Living Water for Roatan”. We are praying for God’s provision for 400 water meters at about $70 each to help conserve water distribution and make it fair to all the people. Henry, Francis, Elias and Rosa are heading up the daily overseeing of this project and training of a local committee to take it over.
MISSIONARY INN TEAMS
CC Mercer, New Jersey joined us in a powerful way, as they came and put their hands to the plow on much needed hotel repairs and ministering to the local youth. They replaced falling down drywall ceilings in the hallways, replaced hotel siding and got Esmeralda’s new apartment underway. Spiritually, they reached out to our local youth with movies every night and fun activities. We are sure God used them to make a lasting impact on many lives. Next, Shilow came and brought much needed hygiene items to distribute through the colonia as they shared of God’s grace. They also joined forces with Yourgan for prison ministry and poured themselves into the colonia water project to finish up the distribution lines and if that wasn’t enough they got Clint & Sarah’s room expansion underway with. Spartanburg Angels from River Hills Baptist Church, South Carolina came to touch the lives of the children through VBS outreaches in the colonia and continued the work on Clint & Sarah’s room and Esmeralda’s apartment. How continually blessed we feel from the hands of God’s people. The Christian Medical and Dental Association brought a large team with 20 dental students to bless the local communities of Sandy Bay and French Harbor. Our sanctuary became a dental office where about 300 people had their teeth treated. Most importantly several people gave their lives to Christ as a result of the outreach.
THE TEAM
Our team continues to grow as God keeps bringing new hands to help with His work here on Roatan. God graciously brought us Donny who has blessed us immensely with his God given abilities to lead worship in Clayton & Danielle’s absence. Donny brings to the team a light hearted joyful spirit that is nice to be around. Clint & Sarah have been working hard taking over in leading the teams and running the staff which has lifted off a lot of pressure. Fernand continues to bless us in ministering to the Spanish community as well as being a vital part in helping with teams as a translator and dessert baker. Andrea Johnson from CC Prescott joined our team yesterday. We look forward to what God is going to do in and through her here in Roatan. We are continually stretched and changed as God molds and unites us together as a team in service to Him.
WE WANT TO SEND OUT A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO VISIT AND BLESS US WHILE VACATIONING HERE IN ROATAN.

For the many young people on this Island who clearly know and profess the truth of Jesus and yet are hesitant to accept Him as their Lord and Savior
