The Laird Family has spent much of the past few years in waiting for God's timing for them to return to Russia. They are very excited to see that that moment may be close at hand. Please pray with their family in the months ahead as they seek the Lords direction in their life.We are very excited about the opportunity to return to Russia. The Lord has been using us in different areas of the world; in Honduras and here in the states, building our little family and taking care of our daughter's medical needs. As we come to a close of that chapter of our lives, we see the Lord opening a door for us to return to Russia. In November of 2002 the Lord brought me to Volgograd, a city of just over a million people about five hundred miles south of Moscow, as part of a church planting team from Spokane, Washington. Vadim Chipinov, a good friend of mine, became the pastor of Calvary Chapel Volgograd and over the year that followed I served with him teaching and discipling the new believers in the Word of God. Since it's birth the church in Volgograd has grown mightily in the Word and in numbers. Our family: Clint, Sarah, Charlotte and Nila, will hopefully be heading to Russia sometime late in the spring of 2007. We will serve in various ministries of the church and teach bible studies along with discipling new believers. We currently feel the Lord calling us to serve in Russia long term. During our first year in Vologorad we will be seeking the Lord's direction as to where He will have us in the future. Whether that is to be in Volgograd or in other cities of need in Russia. Your Prayer support is greatly valued to us. Please place this card somewhere that will remind you to pray for our family. While the greatest way to support us is in prayer, we also need financial support. Please seek the Lord about giving to our ministry or committing to send monthly support,it has been recommended that we raise a minimum of $1,500 a month for living expenses.
“O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.” Psalm 25:2-4
