Ministry
Has been continuing as usual this summer our spanish congregation continues to grow both in size and in the word. We have been greatly encouraged by the personal growth we see as a result of our being faithful to teach trough the Word. We mentioned in our last newsletter that we feel the Lord is calling us out of Honduras, we have an opportunity to be a part of a church plant in Wisconsin and we feel the Lord is calling us to be a part of this new work. There are still many things that the Lord would need to do before we would be able to make a move like that, so it will probably not be in the near future. Please continue to support our ministry here as we have not left yet and are only praying about things. We are praying for the Lord to provide His perfect workers to help continue the ministry here, there is a couple from California praying about this. Please lift them up in prayer as they pray about making some major changes in their live and also pray that God would provide for them to come on a vision tour to meet us and see the work here.
Teams
We have had a number of teams this summer and seen a great number of friends return to the island once again to serve the Lord with us here for a week. We currently have a team with us from California. They are from an organization called SEND Ministries and are traveling all over Central America as part of a four month internship. They have been with us for just over a week and have been very hard at work. Along with running all of our services, including teaching, worship and children's, they also helped us put the roof and siding on a house in Flowers Bay. We do not have any more teams confirmed for the rest of the year. We are praying for a large team that may stay with us for a few days in September.
Us
We still have not made it back to the States to see Charlotte's Doctors, we continue to wait on our tax return to be able to afford the tickets. The IRS told us it should be coming in about a month, so we are planing to come back for Christmas God willing of course.
We had a dengue epidemic in Honduras earlier this summer both Clint and Zeph fell pray to its fever, but both are doing well now.
We were not able to raise any money to send the kids to a bi-lingual school this year so we started homeschooling our kindergarteners.
